My mother left me yesterday for the cottage. I told her not to go, and that i would commit 'sewer-side' if she did, but she left all the same and my threats were useless.

I did go to Ikea with my father. I don't know what I love such a terrifying place. Really, it's just a big maze of junk they want you to buy, and that is a rather scary concept, but I'm so happy there...

My Guelph-room looks really nice, a beautiful bright blue with my wonderful new furniture. Including a hot pink table! How awesome is that?

Mood: calm- how often is that?

Ikea is a solid sort of store. I don't really feel that it's quite as spectacular as seems to be the consensus, but then again I haven't given it much thought. Who really cares, when it comes down to brass tacks.

As an aside (or is this part the part that is actually on topic?), are you sure the hot pink table will go with the bright blue? I'm having trouble visualizing it.
